Backups and restoring

On the site's page in your account, see the «Backups» card. Your plan sets how many backups are kept, and when there is no room left, the oldest gives way to the newest.

• «Take a backup» takes one right now; do this before big changes.
• «Download» saves a backup to your computer, and «Upload a package» brings one back.
• «Restore» replaces the current content with the chosen backup. Anything made after that backup is lost; to confirm, you type the site's slug.

Before every restore we take a backup of the current state ourselves, so you have a way back if you change your mind. Restoring a large site can take a few minutes.
