Quarter tones

The koron in numbers, on the front page

A tuning card shows Shur like a tuner's display: how many cents each note is off a piano. A composer who has heard a foreign Persian pack go out of tune sees right here why these packs are different.

  • A cents table of the koron notes
  • A page of eight dastgahs, each with its tuning file
  • A short reel beside the photo

Session sheet

Every pack says where and how it was recorded

Every pack's page has a preview with its waveform, the licence, the price and a table: instrument, player, dastgah, tempo, microphones, room and release. The mix engineer gets the answer before buying.

  • A preview with its waveform
  • A clear licence and price
  • Buyers' reviews under each pack

The library

Packs by instrument, filtered by licence and length

Tar, setar, santur, kamancheh, ney, tombak, daf and ensembles each have their own category, and tags for the dastgahs and file types (loop, one-shot, phrase, kit) shorten the search.

  • Eight categories by instrument
  • Two whole free packs
  • Discounts on the kits

The players

The player's name and share, on the site

The players' page introduces each player with their instrument and sessions, and the licence page explains the release and the share of sales; exactly what a distributor or game publisher asks before signing.

  • Seven players with their instruments and sessions
  • A slider of the recording room
  • A session request form for new players

FAQ

Common questions

Do the demo's tracks and pictures become mine?

The site is built with these pages and sample tracks so you can see how it works. Then you put your own files in their place, or take the sample data out with one button.

Can I use my own colours and name?

Yes. You change the name, logo and two main colours in the settings and the whole site takes them.

Does it have an English site?

Yes. Every page and item takes an English translation and the visitor switches language from the header.

What else do I need to sell online?

A payment gateway in your own name and a domain. Hosting, upkeep and updates are on Sima.
